Invisalign® Clear Aligners
Drs. Niemi and Coffee are trained and certified to use Invisalign® at our Arvada office, serving Denver and surrounding communities. The Invisalign® system uses a series of custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners to gradually align teeth and correct your bite. So whether your teeth are crowded or too far apart or have shifted since previous orthodontic work, you'll have a new reason to smile.

How Invisalign® Works
We will start by developing a plan that maps out the movement of your teeth throughout the course of treatment. We will also take impressions of your teeth, which will be used to create your Invisalign® aligners. At our Denver and Arvada-based practice, we use a 3-D computer imaging system to produce a series of clear aligners designed specifically for your mouth and bite.
Once your set of aligners is crafted, you will wear each one for about two weeks. The aligners will gradually guide your teeth and bite into place - week by week, millimeter by millimeter - until you've achieved your intended results. Generally, you will need to visit Dr. Niemi or Dr. Coffee as often as you would with traditional braces; the length of the treatment is also the same as braces.

The Benefits of Invisalign®

  • Nearly invisible, without metal wires or brackets.
  • Comfortable, with smooth edges that don't irritate your cheeks and gums like traditional metal braces.
  • Removable for eating, brushing, flossing, and special occasions. Enjoy all of your favorite foods!
  • Customized for your teeth and bite because of the advanced 3-D technology used to take impressions.
  • Proven effective in clinical research and practices around the country.
  • If you'd like more information on the Invisalign® system, proven successful amongst our orthodontics patients in Arvada, Denver, and surrounding areas, please contact New Era Dental today!

Viazi®
Traditional braces typically use round wires to move the crown of the tooth during the first year, and square or rectangular wires to move the root of the tooth during the second year of treatment. The Viazi® system uses triangular brackets and low-force, square wires to move both the crown and the root of the teeth at the same time. The Viazi® system takes about a year to correctly straighten teeth and align your bite. Some studies have found lower tooth sensitivity and less pain with Viazi® braces than with traditional braces. The system has been featured on CBS's This Morning and over 80 national and international news programs.

Traditional Orthodontics
Traditional braces are often recommended in complex cases, where the patient requires extensive corrections to their teeth or bite. Braces used to imply bulky metal brackets; nowadays, patients can choose from metal, porcelain, or plastic brackets. Metal is the most economical and practical of these materials, although many patients select porcelain or plastic for cosmetic reasons. Drs. Niemi and Coffee are happy to work with you to select the best possible orthodontics treatment. New Era Dental, conveniently located in Arvada, near Denver, offers free orthodontic consultations.
