The Professional Teeth Whitening Process

Before starting a professional teeth whitening treatment, we will examine your teeth and prepare them for treatment with a light cleaning. Then, we will carefully apply and coat your teeth with the professional-strength peroxide-based gel. We use a bleaching system called Lightening White. If you have sensitive teeth, you may request a weaker concentration of the whitening gel. We will use a laser that activates the gel and bleaches the teeth. The gel penetrates deep into the tooth's enamel to remove stains. The whole process takes about one–and-a-half hours. When you walk out of the office, your teeth will be about three shades lighter than when you arrived!

Take-Home Trays

We also fit and provide take-home bleaching trays for our patients. To obtain the take home teeth whitening trays, you'll need to visit our Arvada office (near Denver) twice. During your first appointment, we will take an impression of your teeth and mouth. This first appointment takes about 25 minutes. Then, a week later, you will return for a quick 10-minute appointment to receive your custom-crafted trays. We will ensure that they fit well and show you how to use them. We provide the first two tubes of whitening bleach for free, and after that, you can purchase additional tubes at our office for $10 each.
