About the Practice

We’ve built our practice with your comfort and care in mind – from our facilities and our procedures to our staff, all aspects of New Era Dental are intended to put you at ease during your experience. About the Staff

Tom Niemi, D.D.S, and Paula Coffee, D.D.S., are among the finest cosmetic dentists in the Arvada and Denver areas. Leading a team of hygienists, dental assistants, and office managers, they create a warm and welcoming office atmosphere. Everyone at New Era Dental happily welcomes new patients to the practice and enjoys seeing familiar patient faces on a regular basis.

Dr. Tom Niemi

A graduate of Minnesota University School of Dentistry, Tom Niemi, D.D.S., is proud to provide personalized, professional, gentle dental care to adults and children in the community. He has added many state-of-the-art technologies to the office to better serve his patients. In his time away from the office, Dr. Niemi enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

Dr. Paula Coffee

Paula Coffee, D.D.S., a native of Pueblo, Colorado, graduated in 1984 from Creighton University's Boyne School of Dental Science in Omaha, Nebraska. After serving a residency at the University of Nebraska's Medical Center from 1984 to 1985 and working as an associate in Deadwood, South Dakota, for two years, she owned and operated Parker Dental Center. After 21 years, she sold her practice and joined Dr. Niemi at New Era Dental in February of 2008.

Dr. Coffee has been involved in providing third-world health care since 1983, and was awarded by her peers at the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society the 2007 Outstanding Service to the World Community Award at a black– tie event. For three years, she was a research dentist and clinical evaluator for Clinical Research Associated in Provo, Utah. She and her two daughters, Emily and Allison, reside in Greenwood Village.

"I am involved in multiple endeavors outside of my position as Front Office Manager at New Era Dental. I enjoy spending my time backpacking, skiing, scuba diving and traveling. Some of my passions include supporting the non profit organization Manna Relief, which provides nutritional supplements to 80,000 orphans worldwide as well as enabling others to help themselves maintain wellness. I have been in the dental industry for 5 years."

New Era Dental offers several financing plans and perks:

  • Insurance: We are a Delta Dental Premier Plan network office. Although we are not participating providers of any PPO or DPO plans, our staff members will submit claims to any insurance that allows out-of-network providers.
  • Prepayment discount: The cosmetic dentists at our Arvada and Denver-area practice offer a 10 percent discount to patients who pay in full before treatment. Some restrictions apply; contact our general and cosmetic dentistry practice for more information.
  • Payment plans: Patients can choose from three-, six-, and 12- month payment plans with no interest.
  • CareCredit: With low-interest financing available for 24 to 60 months, CareCredit® can cover co-payments, deductibles, and treatment not covered under other insurance plans.
  • Senior citizen discount: Patients over the age of 65 receive a discount.
