Patients no longer have to worry about wearing temporary crowns, waiting weeks for a laboratory to make a custom restoration, or returning for multiple visits to our office serving the Arvada and Denver areas. Our CEREC® machine makes restoring a tooth easier and quicker than ever so that you can get on with your life.
How CEREC® Works
First, we will take a digital photograph of the tooth needing to be restored. Next, the CEREC® computer technology will convert the image into a 3D virtual model; using our extensive knowledge of CEREC®, we will design your new restoration on the computer screen while you watch. Then, this design is sent to a milling machine, which drills the restoration into a piece of tooth-colored porcelain that matches the shade of your tooth. Finally, we will try the restoration in your mouth to ensure that it fits comfortably, and bond and polish it. The entire process takes only about an hour per tooth!
